At the end of the day they are not going to roll back the rules as they were 10 years ago so stop crying about it.

BSW did a great job this year by holding the rules as they were. The one and only thing they asked for was that every car spends $100.00, THAT'S ALL!

The centre link argument is BS, it's just a more symmetrical part and has bee allowed in the past. Now it is in the rules. It's really not that hard to make these cars turn. Trial and error with hard work will get it done.

The no compression rule is also BS! What can you do with a flat top piston and 70cc heads? NOTHING, the best you might get is 9.5 to 1, big deal!!! As Rob and Jim said, do your homework! Anyone who puts some thought into it can make econmical power.

The 50% rule has been there for more than 10 years. Does it help some cars, yes it does. Can everyone get to 50% rear weight, no. It also hurts some cars being at 50% rear. The last car I ran worked best at 47.5% and the guy who beat us that year in points ran his at 49%. The other factor there is the driver and his style.

It's all BS, build a car and go racing! Get that old car out of the barn throw a $1500.00 engine it, do your home work and make that bitch turn left! If not stop crying about it.

The world could use one less "keyboard tough guy"!

To all those who will be racing at BSW in 2012 I am looking forward to having a little fun and seeing if we can keep up! I think it will be an exciting season.

Merry Christmas to everyone on CRO!!!!

I will correct everyone each time they say that lie. The rules ALLOW FOR 2-way radio systems costing $500-$1,000.

I don't think any class at any track has rules that every disallowed 1-way race-cevers, so those were always allowed anyhow!! The rules were clear NO 2-WAY RADIOS, Barrie removed that..

You don't have to correct me, there was never a need for 1 way rece-cevers. Just because thet say 2 ways are allowed does not mean that you must go buy them! So you stop saying that it is a must have. I don't have a standard or a floater. Why, because I don't HAVE to!

The no compression rule is also BS! What can you do with a flat top piston and 70cc heads? NOTHING, the best you might get is 9.5 to 1, big deal!!! As Rob and Jim said, do your homework! Anyone who puts some thought into it can make econmical power.

No Rob said its free game for compression, he is right.. 70 cc heads mean nothing if the block is zero decked with a set of flat tops, with a stroker crank. Even 6" rods car going to bump your realized compression some.. Do the math on all of that.. Which is all out there right now. The whistler doesn't exist at any track. I would think the his reference is that only heads have ever been CC'd in tech.

You really need to look at the rules and do you math, realized compression???? At the end of the day it all means nothing!!!!!
I'm pretty sure there is a whistler at Sunset and Barrie has one coming.

Is it you can't read, or you don't read? I'll tell you there are cars out there that cannot get over 45%, and be under 3,400, I had one, but you won't believe me. Rob, talking about the championship car has said he can't get 50% with it. 47.5 or 49% makes no difference if you can't get 45%!! Did you not read that, or do you think he is lieing?

Why do you think Barrie cars have always looked retarded with the driver sitting about over the rear axle...

Maybe you are right, you CAN do anything. You can get 95% rear to create a wheelie car if you want. Point is its hard to get without creating a LM or the Batmoblie.

Yes I can read and yes I do read! I already said that there were cars that can't get 50%!!!!! You maybe should have tried harder and maybe you could have, Rob said that too, work hard! He also had a car that turned pretty good regardless of his rear weight. 50% may nt have been any good for him and Jim.
Well you are wrong as I have already stated that I know of 2 standard regular metric chassis cars in 2004 that were 47.5 and 49% and one was mine. But you won't believe me.......
And you can't get 95% to create a wheelis car because it says that in the rules the max is 50%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should really stop with your ridiculous examples and statements, it just wastes time for the readers of these threads.

It's all BS, build a car and go racing! Get that old car out of the barn throw a $1500.00 engine it, do your home work and make that bitch turn left! If not stop crying about it.

If you think that will work, you are the one stuck in the past 10 years. Or do you think we've been talking about King of the Hill all long?

Are you affraid? Work hard my friend you never know if you don't try!!!!
And there's another one of "those" comments. Maybe because you have been long gone for so long that you have no idea what you're talking about.

The world could use one less "keyboard tough guy"!

I fail to see how expressing a different point of view makes one a "keyboard tough guy". That would be someone who hides behind a computer making threats, like "I'm going to punch you the next time I see you", which I haven't seen since my return.

You simply don't like that I am saying.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, I am more than happy to discuss this face to face with anyone. By now everyone knows who I am, come see me after a race, we'll have a beer. I expect a conversation, maybe heated but I don't expect to get into a fist fight over it. If the other party can't control themselves, they need some anger management class.

Maybe that was the wrong phrase, sorry.
I should have said "an angry person that has nothing better to do and needs a new hobby like..... gardening"
And no, i don't like they way you have to spin everything around on almost every board and almost every thread. Don't make this your hobby of choice, gardening really might mellow you out.

To all those who will be racing at BSW in 2012 I am looking forward to having a little fun and seeing if we can keep up! I think it will be an exciting season.

Or it could be a shrinking field with mismatched cars, that is boring to watch and risks getting cut, like every other track other than Sunset.

You need to have a little faith man, come on out and see for yourself and after the race come on back and see me and I will personally pay you back for your ticket that night. I forgot how perfect they are at Sunset......... great track and owners but.........

At the end of the day they are not going to roll back the rules as they were 10 years ago so stop crying about it.

It funny how back in your post, you posting this...

"That's always the way, then they will make a major shake up and put the thunder cars back 10 years like they were before."

So which is it?

Well it has been over 10 years now that the cars haven't been rolled back, but they might at some point. But if they stop allowing big upgrades like this year then all will be fine.

It's all BS, build a car and go racing! Get that old car out of the barn throw a $1500.00 engine it, do your home work and make that bitch turn left! If not stop crying about it.

Dude, after this I read back on you. You haven't run in better than 5 years yourself. Its 2011, $1,500 won't cut it in head work alone!

That's right, It's been 7 years since my last stock car. But if you think for a minute i'm new here you're kidding yourself.
Read back yourself, Jim and Rob said the engine they had cost $1500.00!!!

I know... why because I was you with that same very naive outlook, so I know where it will get you.

What I am talking about here is why YOU will get killed if the above is what you really think. But you won't listen to me, even if you are headed to walking a mile in ym shoes.. But fair enough, I wasn't a winning car, but now you challenge the track champion's advice, and make a stupid statement like above. Are you on crack?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You make me laugh! You can't "get me", and I am far from naive. Which stupid statement, I simply pointed out that it's all possible if you work hard and I just repaeted what he said. And no, I'm not on crack.

Do you think you are going to outsmart everyone running a $1,500 engine against 8K+++ done up crates? You think those guys that do that are so stupid the engine shop took them for a 6.5K ride on a 1.5K motor, and it really makes no difference?

YES I DO! AND I WILL!!!!

Buddy, here is just the car for you...

1.5K motor or under ... check... out of a barn... check... enjoy!!

Thank you for the offer but I have a car already. And everyone knows that your old pos car is for sale.

If you do the above, you will enjoy going a lap down every week. You will feel stupid because of what you said and tried, and run away with your tail between you legs, after or even before the end of the season, to never been seen again.. Yet another loss for the sport, seriously.. Happens over and over and over again.

None of that will happen! But if I do go a lap down, who cares!!! My attitude is a little different then yours. IDGAF!!!
You just make my laugh, you really have no clue!
Go grab a shovel and plant tulips!!!

Now go turn off your internet connection. Please............
