slowel,i will tell you, the only reason i do complain is i love my racing and want to see all tracks have a good car count and good shows for the fans. i have been at this for a long time and do not have a big budget or sponsors paying my way. i have done pretty good on a very limited budget .that being said, there is no way i can stay competitive in llm with all the stuff they are allowing now. 2007 we had a good car, nothing fancy on it and won a lot of races as well as points championship. i do not see why we could not still be running cars same now as then. anyhow,i do not think we will see rules pulled back in any class at any tracks here in ontario, so all i see is more guys like myself getting frustrated and giving up what they like to do - race!
Hard work, great experienced driver, pure determination, and a driver/crewman who speak the same language as each other. Jim and Rob have been working with each other since Fred Flintstone raced at Barrie, and your supprised they kick everyones but? Makes sence to me!
Always somebody gonna bash the top dogs, in the 4 cyl meeting there was a guy cranky about how much it costs in this class nowadays, but his car also spent most weeks sitting at the track never being worked on, I suppose now theyl change the rules to caiter to him. Nobody likes a winner.

Well to me, If you didnt spend all the $$ the rest of us fools spent, and it was that easy to win with hard work and "junk yard" parts....Well i would say thats EASY MONEY!!!You spent F all and made good money at it.....why move on? Oh i see No challange anymore with your $1500 motor and stock parts against 9 cars...makes all the sense in the world!!! and the simple fact that some useless washed up wanna be that cant drive a nail agrees well hell it must be TRUE!.....come back and tell us How your $1500 motor fairs against the mods. I like Rob and Jim but i aint buying this at all. Oh thats right cause my $41000 super late beat them.....I must be the dum ass....2 ways are over the top. But really to come on here and say we beat them all with hard work and not money...or both....sorry.....guess you guys didnt work as hard back when the 44, 48 and 00 ran full time. marty, i've been staying out of this BUT! we always ran with shit and we have been learning how to set up cars and i've gained seat time. maybe i'll rethink the mod thing just to show some people that my "EASY" championships were not a joke, and in saying that i feel you are insulting my fellow competitors that raced hard every night. ricky ran my balls off last year. with all the "GREAT" drivers coming back (no offence meant) i guess i have something to prove! I haven't spent the money yet, maybe a new thunder is in order to silence the critics. just think, i can run all the good shit now! 😮 just an update this years engine is $3000. look forward to racing you and that damned camaro again soon. love......jim lol
p.s we are no better than anybody else out there and i sure as hell ain't the best driver out there either, but rob and i have come a long way together and we win as a team. i guess we'll see what happens! merry christmas you big shouldered bastard! hahaha
