it seems every thread turns into a inside joke. back on topic what difference does it make if the bump n run is at the end or start of a race? it is either right or wrong no matter when it occurs.

I always thought that is part of racing?

It seems you expect it from some drivers and others will pass you clean. You know who will move you out of the way to take the win or get the position and you know who will make the clear pass or take second.

It is all racing isn't it?

Here is another way of looking at it. Does the sport look at it differently depending on who does this? can some get away with it where others can't.

Is it just me or do any of the NCAT drivers let faster cars go by or they battle with them even though they know the guy behind them may be faster and I'm not talking about cars a lap down. I'm talking about lead lap cars.

It seems drivers need to learn to give and take thoughout the race. You see wrecks at the begining of the race that could have been avoided if the car just let the faster car go by.

It is all entertainment I guess.

well a bump n run at the end of the race should be ok because it's the end of the race and thats when the guys are giving it all they have! in the beginning of the race they shouldn't be driving so aggressive! that's my opinion though!

i race people how they race me. you bump me going into a corner i will rip your car in half done it before will do it again. bump coming out or down the straight no biggy. race me clean i will not touch you race me dirty well say hi to mr concrete. but never do paybacks when others are behind you. you the mark martin school of racing when u are off give the guy a lane cause when you are on he should return the favour unless he is a total dork. jmnsho.

During the Atto 300, even cars that were going to be lapped, were so afraid of going a lap down, that they were battling with the leaders. Mid race Gaunt held up second place Gibbons for several laps, even though Gibbons was clearly the faster car at that stage of the race. It would seem to me that in NCATS, if you are afraid to use the bumper, you will not be all that sucessful!
