I get what u guys are saying...and ross i thought u meant 20, not 5...but in the end i wld imagine insurance wld have much to say about the whole thing...

Imagine all you like. Insurance is not an issue at, KD, Mosport, Peterborough, Sunset, Flamborough. And thats just the ones I know as a FACT kids are allowed.

On the other hand Brighton has an age rule, but if the parents sign a waver the age restriction dosn't apply.

The point of the 5 bucks is, for the parents that their child is worth over 5 bucks to them, won't let the child get in the way of a car, or be in danger.

When I was young,(a loooong TIME AGO) My Father had a super modified racing at the EX and Flamboro. you could not get into the pits anyware unless you were 16yo. I always hated that rule, and thought it was a good move when they relaxed it. You know that I was helping out at home on the car. At 10 or 12 I had an better understanding of that old Super
that the guys that helped on race night. I think that racing is a family sport and should stay that way. Most kids are pretty well behaved. If there not, then they have no intrest in racing and should be sent to the stands

then make the kids part of the team and spend $100 for a crew license like the rest of the crew members. if you are grooming your child to be a racer then you won't mind paying. i assure you that you don't want that kid running around and getting booted from the pits. from my observation at barrie it has never been the really small kids acting like idiots on a rampage its the SUPPOSED 4cyl crew members, i would guess 14 to 17 years old treating the pits like a playground. christ, last year they were playing football where the cars line up and come off,  i pit where the cars line up and you should see these morons. they run and jump on the car hoods and slide down the hood, then fall in front of the car. it's insane, we've been waiting for one of these fools to catch his ass on a hoodpin or a sharp piece of metal. i would say 75% of the kids are responsible, but that 25% ruins it. i drive extremely slow in the pits and i almost run over some day dreamer every night.
