Nothing negative here, Im not bashing Barrie Terri - Lynn, Its just poor marketing and it if you look, it was started by a Barrie Speedway Die Hard???

Thunder6 said nothing negative about Barrie Speedway.. it may not be a bad move if the Sunset fans have to drive by it every week.. Perhaps people who want a change or didn't know there was another track, like tourists, will see the sign and come to Barrie..

I just simply said it was poor marketing??? If that is bashing then guilty as charged? But lets flip this around for a second.....Say Sunset puts a billboard on HWY11 right before the cutoff at line 8 and it says "Sunset Speedway!! Full Fields Every Night! Turn around and head south to Innisfil Beach Road!", dont think that the Barrie bretheren would be on here fists waving crying fowl.....Sunset faithful on the other hand (or atleast the ones I talk to) have taken that sign with humour and laughed about it knowing full well that most, if not all race fans in the Innisfil area go to Sunset. So stating that it has been a waste of valuable $$$ because return on investment doesnt exist with that idea must be bashing I guess? Oh well? Who knows? maybe there might be a Billboard along Hwy 11 north bound in the very near future stating what I said above?  😉 😉 Ya never know  😮

I will be at Sunset this weekend Just to see if anyone else wins a race and of course the Fries and Gravy and the great crowds!! Actually Steve, we were hoping Shawn could have raced Sunset, but it would have cost too much money to change the car to handle the track, not to mention the cost of a new engine to even try a be competitive. Maybe next we will just have to wait and see.
