Not to be a gloomy Gus here or anything Harold, but when Dilley did put up the 500 bucks for a Sunset Thunder to win The Sizzler :: How many showed??? 1 (Herb Walters), and I'd hazard a guess to say he may of travelled there regardless.. Back to the same old addage, for some reason the Sunset guys dont like to seem to travel and the current Barrie owners are more than aware of this, so they feel why bother partnering up when it will only benefit one track...The home track points to attend an invitational might help this factor , but even on that I'm not too sure..

So its glad to see that Charlie made it to the CRO world, but what the hell is up??? Everyone with a t.v or computer could see that a storm was moving in it was just a matter of when it was going to hit. Barrie called the night when,? I found out around 2:30 today I had the wife checking the Barrie site all day while I was at work and Sunset was not to far behind. So to say that Barrie called early that's not true four and a half hours is not to early now not to say they have been perfect all year some calls have been made to soon but that's the past, I know that I got home around 3:30 and it was raining by 4:00 so not to much time if you call then right? By that time some teams may have been hauling to the track already that would piss me off. And Charlie with you hauling to Sunset its a longer trip right? So would you not want to get an early call for weather or would you want to waste gas and time by loading and starting off down the highway just to find out that racing is canceled by the time you get to the track?

How many showed??? 1 (Herb Walters),

I think there were actually two Sunset Thunders, Herbie and #27 Howard Eden. (just in case anyone was keeping track, lol)

I believe the only Sunset Thunder I saw was Herbie..The white #27 Camaro was former Barrie driver Don Munce. Maybe Howard Eden was there and had mechanical issues, but I dont think he hit the track in the heats or feature.. But I'm sure you get my point!!LOL
