Im not badmouthing anyone, im just stating a fact. Â Im also not the one who started the rumour about the lights at Barrie, after they went out just after the rainchecks were past valid..........hmm.
And yes barrie cancelled opening night when the forcast was great from 6ish onward, and lost 4 registered thunder drivers. Â again, a fact, not bad mouthing. Â Sorry I speak my mind, but we all cant be pollitcally correct, how boring would that be??
They made the right call today, there looks like there may be a bit of a break in the weather...from I'd say just gussing 6:45-8:45ish but if you figured it rains untill then, dry the track and then you have an hour and a bit of racing before more rain comes.
Barrie just needs some Sunday Rain Dates like Sunset is doing.
Not to revisit the night the lights went issue, but I ASSURE you it was legit and not the doing of the Barrie owners!! That's laughable people think that!!
it's not politically correct it is just correct.....there has been many times this season (really all inthe first few weeks) where we thought about making the swtich. We didn't and we are glad.
This rain thats coming...there is no hope in hell of getting anything in....I am heading out to chase though! Nice storms coming!
The only night I recall Barrie was done first was the night the OSCARRs were at Sunset, and they had to clean a 7 car crash up in the first thundercar heat, ate up some time. Â As far as "king of the wall" taking up 20 minnutes, that up to them, im sure most people would rather just get home sooner. Â For sure if they have kids to put in bed.
