Perhaps, but the rules look pretty good as a way to combine Thunders with Challenger style cars...

i don't know if i'd want to run them together or not. unfortunately i think it was a good idea but in the wrong area. that area has had some real financial set backs and therefore the low car counts. hopefully this will turn around. if you look at sunsets rules they appear to be trying to bring some of these older challenger and llm cars out rather than having to build new cars every time someone moves up. i just don't know if people would be willing to detune their current thunders to have a true thunder class and challenger. put the thunders on the firehawk tire that they ran in the 80-90's and that will definately slow the cars down and in my opinion a smart move. for that matter they can run the same car with no welded or spooled rearends. one wheel peel and a street tire= perfect!

Either that or jack the payout up for superstock, becouse having to run a 18,000 dollor car doesn not justify the same old shitty 80.00 bottom payout.  Ill do what Jim said before i do that........set of slicks and run with the lates, better payout.

Rob Black did it for year, play at the back of the lates and get a paycheque.  I refuese to run a 20,000 dollor thunder class for shit payout.

Put 12,000 to win the points in FOUR CYLINDER, that my friends............will pack the place with cars.  Late Models, mehh, there are only a select few who can win that purse, so you wont get anymore cars.
