Well if he is as chatty as he was last year at Cayuga we are in for another fun time. Maybe NASCAR can work on getting some others from the US to come up and do appearances?? That might finally get the media's attention to start showing up and supporting the series.
I was at that 1974 Export A Race when Bobby Allison won that ran .He started on the pole that day with the King of Racing Richard Petty starting beside him.In that race on the first turn of the first lap Richard Petty lost a front tire and went off the track to finish his day.Funny thing is that the tickets for this race were were complimentary to race fans that had gone to Windsor's Checkerflag Speedway the week before after to see the opening race of the old Export A Series when the race was cancelled not because of rain but because the track was breaking up as the track had been given a new ashphalt surface a couple days before the race and the temperature that day in Windsor was in the high 80's.Drivers like Earl Ross,Jack Monahan,Don Mallott and many more raced in that Series.
which current late model driver is that with Bobby Allison?
I don't know 😉 , but he looks like a "mess" ;D
And Dave most of my models are short track, I don't have that many as I don't have a lot of build time.
My builds are here:

I have done the artwork for lots of short track decal sheets and some of the best builders around have built amazing models of old-time short track starts like Howe, Meier, Senneker, Ross, Fair, Scannell, Ridley, Trickle, Anderson, Gregory.
