Hi Steeve. She did go to protest it. The Flagsman, as far as I know, didn't budge on taking it back. He said she has to learn she is not the only car out there. When I sopke with her sis, they were quite upset, so I don't think it was lifted 🙁 But if she got the points, then hey... That will make her feel a bit better. I know she felt like crap about it.

Crystal has shown amazing improvement. The flag guy did warn her all through the second heat to pick a lane. She was driving her car over the yellow line, not picking a lane. She has taken the driving school as well, so it definitely has helped her a lot.......
But he did warn her... I was right behind her the whole race
Must have been had to follow her for the whole heat when she was spun out by Mitch Casey and put to the back.
The official ruling for Crystal being blackflagged was that she was not picking a lane, funny thing about that though she was on the inside and she was not the person who caused the three wide situation where the tire got blown and Crossman spun out. She did not have contact with anyone.
Personally i think the blackflag had more to do with her last name then anything else. When she asked the officials why she had been black flagged they had no answer for her. She was not given a reason until the end of the night. When told that it was for not picking a lane they told her oh but don't worry we will give you last place points. Anyone else see the Thunder race when we go put to the back because the 97 spun 00 and then 49 pushed us into the 97. According to Barrie's the website we spun 00, even the 97 told the officials at the end of the night that we had nothing to do with it, he lost his pin because 00 put him into the wall. Then the 00 drives completely over top of our car and the 97 car. It was so bad that we have his tire burned into our paint. His tire was on the trunk of both cars and he didn't even so much as get a warning, but we did. We were on the bottom of that how does that work?
Mitch Casey did protest the blackflag with our support. Mitch tried not to hit Crystal coming out of corner 4, but didn't realize that she had slowed up coming out of the corner. Mitch was on the brakes hard but it was too late. It was purely a racing incident and he should have not received a black flag for this.
if somebody gets a black flag in a heat race are they given 0 points for that race and handicapped as if they won that race??? if so then how come Mitch Casey got points for that race??? just wondering!!!!
If the flag is for rough driving you are suppose to get zero points or put to last place .... it is up to the flag man.
Can't we just have a week where we can just race???? I seen everything here and I was just baffled by it, the one guy who gets flagged is the only guy who had his pin in!!
oh that's great for crystal that she was at least given an explanation! i think everybody should get an explanation on the black flag. It is also nice to see that the flag man had the discretion on giving her no points or last place points. That was also very nice to support Mitch in protesting. Shows good sportmanship to actually admit it was just a racing deal. Crystal is doing awesome this year and Steeve is having fun racing her each and every week. Steeve doesn't notice that she is driving more then one lane. Seems that she is keeping her lane when she's around him. Good stuff!!!!
