You should all be greatful there was even an awards banquet and at least some awards were given out. I remember in 1997 when the track had financial difficulties, they never even had an awards banquet that year. Instead Dan Lazine, the Street Stock champion pulled money out of his own pocket to give the Street Stocks on their own a banquet and decided to give trophies for the top 10 in the division. I know cause dad got one of them and that was a stand up thing for Lazine to do with his own money. So instead of whining and complaining about how bad it is, remember how bad it could have been........JMO

Just because you are rich dosn't mean you are stupid. The guy might have a 100K car for a reason. He didn't get there by taking losses on busniess, which includes supporting you. Rumor is there isn't a track out there that did to well this year. So becarefull, you and your racing (and me too for that matter) will be long gone before the 100K car is at risk 😉
It would be all to easy to only run a track for the big money events like NCTS, and avoid the expense of day to day operations for us weekly guys. Look at Cayuga... Do we want it to go in that dirrection?
