and to top it all off i heard most of the trophys not all of them had the wrong sponsors on them in all divisions, it was interesting to hear that the track was giving out $22,000 in prize money more than any track around 1st in purestock got $200 and 6th got $58 and i believe 10th or 11th got $10 lol
Joe then add in the NASCAR money...our champ ends up with 800 bones...for 7th i will get 265...that is amazing for minis....stop slinging mud where it is not needed to be slung. Wait till December.
i'm getting so tired of waiting for new owners to get their shit together. we at barrie have been doing this since the 80's. a speedway can not be run by a corporation, it needs personal attention.
;D ;D ;D Must be feeling better Jim''LOL'' I KNow been there done that I have a Herniated Lumbar 1 and 2,,and I also have a Stomach Hernia too!!,, so I on rebiuld mode over the winter'''LOL""so I Know What you mean on Corparate Greed'' does not feel like a ones personal Track any more I geuss thats what Money does to People!!!....JMO
It would be interesting to know what the LLM champion got at Sunset and Kawartha, compared to what McLeod would have received for winning the Barrie Championship. I would think Keith was miles ahead. It would be hard to decide where to cut off the trophys. Yes, they used to go back 15 spots, but did they really need to do that? That was the personal home town feeling people received from past owners, but it is not run like that anymore. Why would someone who finished 14th deserve a trophy anymore than someone that received, lets say 16th or 17th? Yes, they could have done top 10, that would have been great, but to go beyond that I think is a little stretch. Let's remember 6 or so rainouts, and 3 pure stock invitationals with free pizza, etc that they probably lost their shirts on. The Barrie drivers were doing a lot of complaining about invitationals, but on those 3 nights, there were more cars there from out of town than Barrie cars, so they didn't even support their own track, so it is hard to complain.
