I agree with Yorkie Its people like you and Terry and the mentality that OH rocking the boat may just tip it.. Well if the world was full of people like you two NOTHING would ever be accomplished and forward and progressive ideas would never come to fruition. A few eggs always have to break to make an omelette and You must remember the owners are in BUSINESS to make money.. ITS not personal its BUSINESS to them so they certainly aren't going to just say OH PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING I NEED TO GET OUT OF DODGE NOW. Imagine if DONALD TRUMP had that attitude where would he be?
Well Marty, I understand how frustrated you are with everything, hopefully this will change in the very near future. I am just a frustrated with the new owners as the next person, and sounding off can be the best release of frustrations, but some of us are willing to work very hard in the very near future to change things. Hang in there, you are one of the best drivers in the area and BSW needs drivers like you. Don 't give up yet........
It's true I really can't believe how non of you are willing to have an open mind,if you are not happy then leave problem solved,l am willing to help and will call one of the the owners on your behalf l know him quite well he is a good guy so to help the cause i will tell them that some people are extremely unhappy with Barrie Speedway maybe we can scrape together 5or6 of the 120 registered drivers at Barrie Speedway,for a show of strength I'm serious so lets address the problem.ItsTrue ItsTrue.
Yorkie thanks for the kind words, the only thing that keeps me at BSW is TTR they are Family and have invested alot into our team. I love having the interaction with cousin Ron & Dar and their whole family. We have such a great time racing up there but there comes a point when you say enough. I think Mike Brown has reached that point too. If cooler heads prevail maybe we will be back who knows. By the end of the night i had heard about going to try out some different tracks for the rest of the year. We'll see, i've said my piece, Itime to move on. good luck to all that try to make BSW what it use to be. If Ron is done then we are done .
hellothere: you were not in the drivers meeting were you? If you were then you would have seen what asking a question gets you. NOTHING when Dave stepped up in front of his racing peers and asked what was on his mind he got like everyone else has stated a BLANK STARE. The idea of a commite is a good one and it could just work, something has to be done. I love racing at Barrie its the track that I have gone to since I was a kid I want to see things improve for the better. We as the drivers have the chance to do it the right way so lets start.
