With some of the crazy rule changes in "thunders" this year, BSW has decided to keep them as they are and have been in the last few years! In my opinion this keeps the costs down and will hopefully attract new drivers from other tracks that can't afford the upgrades and can come to our track and still be competitive!!! The natural evolution of classes is continuing BUT what people seem to not get, is that we don't have an 8 cyl class behind us anymore! This is the end of thunders, street stock etc........forever, so lets try and preserve it as long as possible! The older thunders that have become obselete at other tracks, or the owners can't afford to be competitive anymore still have one venue left to come out and have some affordable fun. Get that old thunder out of the garage, dust it off and get your asses to BSW. Eventually, with the availability of frames, parts etc thundercars are a dying breed and many of the changes being made will eventually have to be done. But in my opinion people are jumping the gun by about 5 years. Kudos to BSW for trying to keep this a sport where a you don't need to mortgage your house to race a mid level division! Hope to see a ton of you on opening day!!!
