one of my points was it's a big jump in pay from the super stocks to the Late models. 3500 - 13000. you'd think that the super stocks would be somewhere smack int he middle of the minis and late model. Super Stocks / Thunders are getting almost as expensive to build and they have great car counts.
Barrie Should do something money wise for all 3 divisions and not just lean towards the late models as most all tracks do. Also Barrie should post the season points fund for next year on their website. I am still shaking my head in disbelief how I only got $125 from Barrie Speedway to Finish 6th in Thunder points. Nascar gave me more then that???
i got 320 last year for 6th from nascar?
hell, 320. for sixth in thunder is sure a lot better than the 500. peterborough pays for winning llm points.
can any car from any track run the specials and be eligible for the "special" cash?
I don't see how, you'd have to run (register) for the season at Sunset... which means you're really committing to running for that tracks Championship in addition to the Sunset Invitationals and Stefko / McColl Series...
Wesley I think from what i got from what mark dilley said was that any car from any other track is more than welcome to run these special races for the special cash. So Jim i sure hope to see you running specials at sunset again next year. It was the best when you and herb ran for the crown and even better when you came out letting the fireworks off. Good times.
It's 2500 to win mini's. 3500 to win super stock, and 13000 to win llm. the 'bonus cash' is if you win the mini race series that we will learn about in december. Mark stated the the payouts are not top heavy, and a lot of money was invested throughout the field, not just the top car.
I do beleive that jibby hit the nail on the head. More to come in dec..
