The GREY area, I dont know, you should ask Rob LOL! 😀
If you dont think thunder is mental now, go look at the ad up top for the Flamboro Latemodel42. 18,000 for car, crate engine, standard, spare front end parts and 10 rims, 10 gear sets, and spare shocks.
I THINK MAYBE that thing races for more then 120 dollor mid pack payout.......
Yup, till it changes I think ill put my 5,000 for my car towards something worth while!!!!!
( and 8,500 gets you the Varney LLM ) !!!
Somebody better get ahold of the track owners before this gets out!
so Sunset is paying $13,000 to their Late Model champion. So don't think Barrie's $12,000 is going to draw as many cars as expected. My question is why pay the Late Models 13K and only pay the Super Stock Champion $3500. That to me is a huge difference. The tracks in Ontario need to start increasing the purses for all divisions and not just the late models. All 3 divisions are needed to make a show. Barrie increased Late model as did Sunset. Why not increase the Thunders and Minis by a whole bunch as well? Interest other drivers from all divisions. Just trying to attract Late Models to Barrie with 12K to win is not going to cut it. All divisions need to have a major increase in purse and points funds if anything is going to improve significantly.
I don't know Steve....i just don't know.....imo...run Thursdays...start at 8 or 830 and do everything in your power including 1 set of heats to get it done in less than 3 hours...
Thursdays is a lot of family/people's nights out...and it's pay day for a lot of people....between both tracks i would expect enough cars to have decent counts.
I just don't know how 3 ppl with money can take on 15 with money...sometimes you just can't win the money game.
Steeve Sunset did increase for the other divisions also 6000 Supers and 4000 minis in addition to what is made weekly...
