I know where all of you are coming from.....BUT! if you have no wallet....then go down one more class! Get yourself a 4 banger!!!! there are options! Is street stock now thundercar??? yup! is thundercar now challenger....YUP!!!!.....get over it !!!! Thundercar/Superstock IS the best racing out there for a reason!!!! IT IS WHAT IT IS!!! WE made it this way! we all voted at one point, we all sat at the rules meetings at one point.....If you u aint got the bucks then YOU WILL find somewhere to race if you really want to.....Show me one racer that wouldnt kill for a ride in a LLM!!!! And where have those costs gone!!!! we are our own worst nightmare....we race...give me "this" and i will take "that"! Next thing you know "that" is legal, so give me more! YOU all race.....it cost money and there is NO ONE HOLDIN A GUN TO YOUR HEAD TO SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! We all agree we do this for the love of it....So, Suck it up...No money, no race....No Money and you race? well then you got what you got!!!! ITS FUN! Can i have fun being beat week in and week out by a walllet? NOPE! so i either give up, or spend more, or i have fun with what i have and finish where my talent gets me..........That is the price of racing! always has been always will be!!!!!!!!! #1 money! #2 Talent #3 Luck! you dont know this yet?????? SHUT UP AND RACE......you dont like it....there is plenty of room stands side for you! AND yeah i know i know, what happens when there is no one left to spend their money...or we have 5-6 cars in a feature......ebb and flow.....just like LIFE! You are one of the major contributors to this whole problem. For the money you have spent, go get a LLM!!! what is the problem???? you obviously have the money, so is the talent the problem????? Again I am not knocking you directly, or you only, but this is where the problem starts. a guy who spends more $$$$ than a LLM but runs a Thunder. All I am saying is that there has to be a line drawn somewhere, and the "evolution" of this class is far too much, too quick. Btw did you ever watch or participate in the Thunders from 2000- 2005???? that was some of the best racing in ANY division, Why? because they didn't screw with rules every year, and most tracks were the same.........People loved the Thunders more than the lates, and for good reason.....

They still do....ask anyone that was at AC.....the class hasn't been ruined....sure it has priced some ppl out....but tough grapes...everything is getting that way...lots of kids can't even register to play hockey.....its a shame, but its reality.
oh ya one car lapping most the field...... I agree its till good, but not great. I am meaning the days where there were 10 or more cars that could win any night....IE Shepherd, Jongen, Davies, Stoddard, The Polish Prince himself, Smokin Joe, Gignac, Charlie Smith, Wilton, Penny (which ever one you choose), Callow, any one of the Cunnington cars ( Including Holmes and Granger), and for a year or two, Adam Reid, Getliffe, Van Voorst, I could continue.......
How many different Feature winners was there at Barrie this year? (no disrespect to Jim, he has been there for years) How many at Sunset? and you think this is the "Golden Age" of Thunders?
Well i am glad to see YOU know how much i spend!!!! Last year I bet you i spent less then the 12 car did! I bought a nice new trailer! Yup i must be loaded!!! $130 a month for ever!!! LOL, I didnt change the rules! i didnt make the rules! I simply put the rules to work for me. I spent $600 on tires, the Hoosier 790 are more then the recap, thats my rule so thats what i bought As far as my car goes....I hung a slick body on it, I cut my own stickers, so it MUST cost me thousands!!!, your right i dont have the talent to race LLM, Nor do i have the $$$$. I CAN run thunder/superstreet and have fun! I did race back then, but closer to home....I travel to Barrie and sunset and Varney because the racing is better! The people are nicer and we have more fun! I dont complain about who is beating who, and who spends what. I simply show up with what i can afford and race for FUN! Hell i left most tracks before the payouts were ready because Like Mark Dilley said...If you are racing for a payout, then you shouldnt be racin!
All i am saying is, is i spend what i want, not what i have too, I race for fun and never lose sight of that fact! If i dont have the money i dont race.... ;D ;D ;D
