I'd say Steckly is one of the cleaner drivers on the track. The pass looked alot like Dale Jr. trying to pass Kyle Busch this weekend at Richmond.
I agree I have always thought of Steckly as nothing but a squeaky clean driver. But these last two races at Barrie have kind made me see it differently. I think hes really pushing for the title this year and has changed his style a bit, to see that he has a better shot at winning it!! Like I say I dont have so much of a problem with the bump in the A&W 300 he gave Donnie. (Alhough I have a pic in Inside Track that shows that was a bit more than a "bump" too) But I saw this one more as a "take out" when Donnie started to get by on the outside. Looked like Steckly was turning right between 1&2 to spin Donnie for sure. Given the circumstances of the first race especially, I just think that was a dirty move to pull. And like I say not really a Thomson Jr. fan either. Was nice to see Gaunt have a really good run though, he took 3rd late in the race from Gibbons until being passed by Thomson Jr. for that spot with 15 to go. Still the best Barrie finish in the 2 years hes been NCATS racing for Gaunt. And Dilley kept a really clean car and ran a good smart race in finishing 5th, so it was sweet to see the local guys up there running well.
What do you Expect I have driven for ERB Transport for 2 yrs.back in the mid 80's They cracked the Whip on Steckley to win or Else!! I have Noticed that too!!!,one thing is for sure is I wouldn't Want Erb For a Sponsor !!!!...JMO
