from what i understand, the " douce" got dq for 3/32 too thick of a gasket. I'd be asking to see the calibration sheet for the measuring stick they used. i'm sure there is bigger and better things to look for out there! if you're going to get someone , lets get them on some real trick stuff.
polishprince, you are right they do seem to pick on hte little guy. I stayed behind after the racing and tried to pleed my case with Brian, that got me no where. I even said that we plugged it and up our jets as we found it made more power. He went to the rule book and said this is where we broke the carb rule>(2) The carburetor shall remain stock as produced with the exception of choke mechanism and external choke housing may be removed.> I really don't want to race at Barrie any more if this is how nit picky they want to be. I was still passed and held on the last few laps for all i had, my car got really lose with five to go. I'm trying to cry about it but it really sucks that the one time I have a good strong run in a feature it gets taken away from me over the smallest thing.
tough break #9 but the rules are the rules right
you know rule are rules but it would be nice to catch a break every now and then, especially for something small
yeah i hear ya Chris about picking on the little guys when they have a strong run. That is raw bad luck I guess. All you can do is fix what they deemed to be outside of the rules and come back next week and have another strong run. Hopefully if some other guys are outside of the rules then tech will get them later on!
