The thunder car feature went the 44, 00 and the 9. I know that I was DQ and I think that the 44 was as well. At least thats what people were telling me.

Ok this is my best run down on this nights events!! Keep in mind havent slept since the races yet and am kinda pressed for time have to go to pub for Nascar picks. Charger feature won by #77 Leclerc. Another strong finish for #21 D. Walt who finished 2nd. Rookie #07 Kurtis Ball came 3rd in another strong run. 4th was #61 Gauci. #33 C. Doucette edged Burtoo for 5th by a mere 1/1000th of a second. Heats to Leclerc, Doucette, Walt, and #49 Mike Woodward. Pure Stocks it was #63 Crumbie by a half track. 2nd was Sererus, 3rd Melenhorst 4th Robbie Sikes, and 5th K. Lethbridge. Heats to Crumbie, Melenhorst, M.Meyer, and T. Milligan. Last lap passes in both Thunder and LLM to win with Doucette winning Thunder followed by St. Onge, Burrage, Johnston, and Davey. Heats to Davey, #38 Dave Melson, # 72 Marty Monette, and #22 Jason Elliott who grabbed his first ever win in a Thunder at Barrie so that one was especially nice to see. Great battle in the LLM with Baker and McLeod at the end of that feature. 3rd was Shepherd, 4th Lewis, and 5th K. Baker who had a very solid run, and was the top finishing rookie. Both Brown and Inglis looked to have the cars to beat on this night but both appeared to lose something towards the end!!! Heats to Baker, McLeod, Shepherd, and Brown. This was the best night of on track action this year so far in my opinion and the show and line ups appeared to go a bit better so looks like things are on the upswing at Barrie. Sorry for the sketchy report but look for the Barrie one to be posted on ths site by Mon at the latest!!! Gotta go hear a bubbly callin!!!LOL I did hear the #44 & 9 Thunders were DQ'd as well!!! I friggen hate it when that happens makes the write ups harder to do!!!!! So a wing and a prayer it is!!!! On a personal note didnt get down to the Melson pit to apologize to the boys for threats that I made here and could do that now but I'm hoping to see them in person to do that.
