Here comes a very half-@ss'ed review from me no names ..just #'s to save me time and no spell checks tonight...haha.....beacuse this has been my 3rd race in 4 days... and been about 8+ hours of driving...and I'v worked a lot of hours in between...and have to work tommrow again..so I am wiped out.
Anyway....there was an opportunity at work to switch to an early shift for today..so I jumped at the chance so I could go to the races somewhere...and figured I'd make the long trek up to Barrie again.
Chargers:Won by the 15, he jumped one of the re-starts big time..not sure how he was not BF....but then when a caution came out like 5-6 laps later they made the decision to put him back 2 spots for it...strange call... you eaither throw a BF for it right away or leave it don't wait for the next yellow and do that... but anyway I'v seen some strange calls all year around at different places....lol
The the rain started...and all I could think was...NOT AGAIN...beacuse this has happend to me so many times this year...but thankfully it stoped preety quickly
Prue Stocks:Won by the 2...picked up where he left off Wendsday..competive race..was entertaning.
Thunder Cars:A big field of 24 thunders took the green..and my-oh-my what a race it was.... first few cars were single file..then after that it looked like Talladega out there.. 2-3 wide threw the whole field bumper to bumper..it was crazy out there..... after a few spins and such....you just knew one of these re-starts was going to be bad....sure enough with under 10 to go...coming off of turn-2 the 27 running 3rd at the time got loose again(this was about the 3rd or 4th time off turn-2..he about lost it....) and looked like the 9 got into him just a bit and got spun right in the middle of the backstretch..and the the pile up was on...a whole wack of guys got all jacked up..one car got seriously airborn it was wild looking to say the least.... it ultimately ended the night for about 4-6 cars..including Burrage in the 9 that got BF'd....wich IMO was a bad call..the 27 was all over the place...expessily off of turn-2...... so I hardly blame the 9 for that.
Race was won by the 77, after working over the rear bumper of the 92 for a good part of the race.
one big "boo-boo" happend during the race...some how the Red Lights came on...and the RF came out for no reason at all....it was even said over the PA that it was a mistake...so I guess somebody hit the button by mistake..lmao
LLM:17 cars took the green..in a race that looked like..it might go flag-to-flag...but then... the 84 spun....and well ya'know the saying "cautions breed cautions" and that's excatly what happend...after running almost 25 laps green flag....the cautions started to fly atleast 2-3 times..and then on a re-start with 5 to go..just comming to the line it looked like 18 got a bit loose and squeezed his daddy up into the wall..and it caused a huge mayla behind them as everyone started to stack up and pile up...it ended the night for the 8 & 69 as both cars looked like they suffered some preety serious damage. The Re-start went again with 5 to go...and what a battle at the front..... 17,28,9,48 were all stuck nose to tail tucked right up under each other..but nobody was able to make a pass...or wreck each other...both were suprising to see...Watson to me looked like he was faster then both Reynolds & Jonged but could not get by....on the last lap comming out of 4 though...Jonged got right about under the bumper of Reynolds..so 1 more lap I have a feeling Reynolds might have gotton moved out of the way...beacuse he closed right in with a great run off of 4.
Anyway was some good racing at Barrie once again...sorry for the error filled and kinda lazy review..I'm really tired tonight..lol
the rule involving the 15 charger car was handled correctly. If a driver jumps a start or retstart, they are penalized 2 positions per spot gained by jumping that start. They are either scored 2 positions from where they finished if no caution, or sent back 2 positions if a yellow comes out.

ohh..ok gotca, makes since then...I just thought if there was no yellow then he might have still won or something...or that they just made that call at the next yellow..but if that's what the rule is..I was unaware.... thanks for clearning that up
no problem....i have had that ruling against me before first hand. I crossed the finish line first but was scored as finishing third for jumping a restart.
thundercars= #77 dq'd too light, #92 teched legal taking first place, congrats dan-o! #45 being teched when i left, don't know if he passed or not, if so good run junior! the race was bloody chaos, someone is going to leave in an ambulance, again no respect shown,oh well!!!!!!!
