Really good write up on Chris' win posted on the Barrie website.. I really like the personal aspect to it, and you get an idea just what is involved getting the car to the track each week as a low budget race team...Sure hope you dont hang em up at years end Chris, but I understand that there comes a time for other things as well...

I was very surprised when Andy called me wanting to do that little writeup. But Dave it will be over at the end of the season, its time to do some other things.

i hope that they continue the stories on winners. heck it doesn't even have to be feature winners. it can be anyone. It's a neat thing to tell some of the local racers stories and let people know what's involved in racing. The site should have a weekly featured driver, whether they are the previous weeks winner or not should not matter. Could make some of the drivers who aren' quite fast enough to win every week a chance to shine in the spotlight.

It's too bad that your not racing next year Chris. I know the feeling when other things start to become more important. I have a 4 month old daughter and a 9 year old son. It's coming down to finding another job ( 9-5 Mon-Fri), or not racing for awhile myself after this season. Would really love to race.. But i would love to spend time with the ones who mean the most to me as well.
