Ok just a brief synopsis for now.. Hope to comment more later.. 1st feature win went to #8 Dave Lewis, still sporting the vintage Reynolds #90 paint scheme. Lewis, started outside Pole and lost the early duel for the point as #54 Randy Bull powered into that position just a couple laps in. Just in behind Lewis, #2  "Hometown" Mike Brown disposed of #11 John Gaunt in the race for third after a clean tough war for that position.. On lap 12, the unthinkable happened when point leader #57 Ron Quesnelle retired to pit lane with mechanical woes.. The top 3 of Bull, Lewis and Brown, began to break away from the pack marginally, with #69 Al "Red Rocket" Inglis also putting on a charge to the front, after passing both #10 Gord Shepherd, and #28 Robin Jongen to move inside the top 5.

Only caution came about on lap 18, when Gaunt suddenly slowed on the racetrack, just after challenging Brown for 3rd. At the front Bull was still in control, with an eager Lewis having a look for an inside pass into turn 1 just after the restart.. Finally on lap 27, Lewis made the winning pass, getting to the inside of Bull on the exit of turn 2, to power into the lead.. On the last lap the 3rd and 4th place cars of Brown and Inglis would get together coming to the checkered, with both going for a loop as the ever alert Jongen avoided this mishap to take 3rd at the line.. Give 1st to Lewis, 2nd to Bull, 3rd, to Jongen, 4th to Shepherd, and 5th to #55 Steve Quesnelle..

In keeping the race report somewhat short for now, I'll just report that the 2nd feature went caution free, and saw the pole sitter Inglis virtually dominate the entire race.. Point leader Quesnelle was now into the car he drove to a 5th place showing at the Reynolds Memorial race and he drove it from the back of the pack to a 2nd place at the finish.. Bull, would have another great showing in coming home in 3rd, with Shepherd, and Jongen the remainder of the fast five..

Best race by far of the night was the Thunder Car feature.. It too woulda went caution free but for a loose gas cap and fuel leak from the initial start..On who you ask?? Why the 2nd place point man of Rick Walt.. Now at the back of the pack Walt but on a clinic on how to cleanly get to the front in a 30 lap feature race.. Walt, picked them off one by one until he found the race leader #12 Jim Belesky on lap 27, ironically enough in 1&2 at the same point of the Lewis pass on Bull in the first LM feature.. Walt's car over the past month really looks to hook in this particular spot on the track, and tonight was no exception, as he dove down inside Belesky on the exit of 2, with the suprisingly nice sized crowd (considering forcast) on their collective edge of their seats, with a good portion also now standing awaiting  the thrilling finish.. Walt, would make the pass stick and "The Prince" stayed right on his tail the entire rest of the way, as Walt took his 3rd feature win of the season.. Belesky finished 2nd, with teamate and rookie contender #55 Shawn Goggins having his best night to date in finishing 3rd.. #77 Brian Murray would pass #14 "Hurricane" Thayne" Hallyburton in the late stages, as that duo finished 4th and 5th respectively..

Heat wins went to Walt and Goggins.. In keeping with a recent trend at the track, first ever career checkered flag for Goggins, So huge congrats to Shawn and the entire Walker Logistics race team..

Speaking of first time winners, the St.Onge Recreation Pure Stocks would at least see a first time feature winner, as #91 Andre Pepin of Midland turned the trick in his #91 Dodge Neon.. Pepin, took the lead on lap 5, with an inside pass on defending track champ #15 Will Davies entering turn 1.. Bit of a messy race with at least 3 or 4 cautions, the worst of which saw rookies #57 Ryan Toon, and #63 Jamie Cairns get tangled up while racing out of turn 2. Toon, seemed to take the worst of it, and happy to report he was ok.. The car not so much so!! Point leader #02 Shawn Murray essentially stopped to avoid this tangle up but he did catch a piece of it I guess and was also summoned arrears.. Fear not for Murray however, as he would battle back to the front of the field, and pass close friend #13 Dave "Gipper" Glaze for 2nd in the late stages.. But this one was Pepin's race to lose, and after outduelling Glaze and building up a marginal lead, the laps would run out for Murray by the time he had worked around Glaze for 2nd.. Give his first ever feature win to Pepin, 2nd to point leader Murray, 3rd to Glaze, 4th to #31 Jack Horner, and 5th to #400 rookie Justin Holmes..

Four different heat winners came in the form of Murray, Horner, #39 Travis Hallyburton, and #15 Will Davies.. Sorry for the shotty report once again am kinda pressed for time... FROM THE CHEAP SEATS!!!
