It was nice to see the larger field of Thunders, just shows that Barrie isn't the Black sheep of the racing world. Now all we need is more late models and you have one hell of a good show on you hands.

yeah doubles for PS one night and Doubles for us another night if they feel like they don't want the show to drag on too long. I'm ok with that. As long as we get to run the feature we lost tonight. Also remember thunders have a 40 lapper on Sept 4th. So maybe double features for thunders next week and doubles for PS for the 5th.

True all we need is a bit more Late models and we'd have a heck of a show. I think the track will see some new LLM next year for sure. most of them are running points at other tracks, so a few may jump to run Barrie. we'll see though.

Sunset built a new track, it's human nature to want to go a check out something new and exciting, however given all the talk about illegal cars and lack of teching I think you will find that many will return to Barrie next year. If a track wants high car counts, I think the biggest issue is to have tight teching, tech that stick to the rules and the same rules for everyone, drivers want to know that consistency is going to be the first and formost thing. Every driver wants to know that it is a fair playing field out there and if someone steps outside the rules to gain an edge they will be caught and have their hands slapped so to speak, told to clean it up or take it elsewhere. That is what I feel is going to draw the cars back. Now I know that when it comes to pure stock it gets a little dicey cause of all the makes and models, I have heard race directors say you can't expect tech to know everything about every pure stock out there, then maybe it's time to put some rules on what make of car you can run and have those specks there, you can't just run anything in thunder or LLM, or at least I don't think you can, but it seems pure stock, if it has a four cycl. engine you can run it. I'm not a tech and don't pretend to know everything cause I don't, but maybe its time to set some parameters to what can be run, just a thought

Pardon me And If Im wrong I apologize...Kyle Donaldson has raced at Kawartha,Sauble,Peterborough and now Barrie with the Stefco series correct??? Has his car NOT been teched at those other tracks also??? If he has he has PASSED or are all the tracks "conspiring"???
