BSW is most likley to Charge more admission to get in the place not to mention more money for Crap Food and most likley to Charge more for Beer!!!,,I thnk Sunset is going to be My choice for racing at least it won't be boring and the Food is Better!!!and Jr. will be there.... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
Kinda funny how right after the mention of cutting the chargers ( only reason to save time)..and then the next subject was the mention of Barrie possibly starting a new class like sunsets outlaw minis.
😮 😮 Thats the problem with Corporate Clowns they want to change and Fix things when it suits them and its not even broken!!! go figure The Racers get Screwed again!!!JMO >:( >:( >:( >:(
Ya I think you took what I said a touch outta context CHARGER!! I was by no means incinuating that the shows got dragged out last year because of the Charger division. In fact from May-Sept I would hazard a guess that that class ran the cleanest races with the fewest amounts of wrecks. For the first month it was the LLM that really had no respect for each other and dragged out the show, come Mid Season the Thunders took a turn in the wreckfest dept, and finally at years end it was the Pure Stocks that ran awful races (until a few of the troublemakers left the track). And I dont think the B feature will ever be just 6 laps in 09. I would like to see it be at least 10 laps personally (same as a heat) so if you are starting from the tail of the field you still get the chance for a podium without having to drive through anyone. In fact the way I'd really like to see the B feature run is one lap per car in the race.. So if 24 qualify for the A main and we have 36 4cyl cars in the pits that night the B feature becomes 12 cars for 12 laps... Heck they could even run it in Australian Pursuit format on occasion just to try something a little different. Maybe you will see someone step up for the 4cyl guys as BIG DOG did a few years ago, in that fan draws a # pre race and if you finish in that spot you get an extra 50 bucks or something and then the one with the most lucky dogs and/or B feature wins gets a couple hundred bucks and nice trophy at the end of the year.. And I know it might be harder on newcomers breaking into the sport to run with the fast guys but you have to learn and get better sometime. It really comes down to learning the car and not electing to start at the front until you have somewhat a handle on it. Starting at the back for a while isnt a recipe to win races but it WILL earn you the respect of your peers in time!!! JMO of course..
