Plain and simple, you learn how to race. True, you won't get much useful knowledge about setup, but you learn about handling characteristics, how to drive in traffic, respecting other drivers and cars, line up procedure, how to regain control of a car, etc.
You aren't going to learn crap about setup in any FWD class, so lets kill the mini's while we are at it...
Which leave Thunder, and thats one heck of a crash course in car setup, considering where its gone...
If its just a money issue, cut back on the payout to the Charger. That will encourge guys to move up, while still providing a place for people to start out!! Worse that will happen there, is not being able to aford the payout will kill the class, which is no worse that what we have here anyhow.
i think it has more to do with a time frame!some night's you wouldnt get out of there till 11:30 or 12:00 way to long of a show!
yes they want the show to be approx. 3 hrs....they want to be done by 10 if possible...
plus barrie will be launching a new website soon and i dont think Evan will like it much...
They said that they would not read any racing forums, of any kind. That they just produced arguments and bad information, The only way to communicate is threw their web site. I think that in it self shows narrow mindedness. These forums may not be perfect, but they show where some of the problems lay. They dont have to get involved, but just monitor them. Who knows, they may learn something
well they are creating a forum with the new website and ask that they be contacted through that with ideas...i dont feel that is narrow mindedness...
