Listen up, The guy on the dog o Pack team Ed the welder beat the crap out of a sixteen year old kid  after a race at the track,two Saturdays ago the poor kids face  face was swollen and bruised like a pumkin, so Byers  was told to leave the property and not come back.His Dog o pac team mates said if he goes we are not going through tech and we are gone, the track stood up to them and said Ed Byers is history and you guys are DQed and they left and went to Sunset.

I just want to say that it is sad that rick and mike meyer will not be racing at Barrie anymore.A lot of drivers and fans alike might not have liked them much, but does everyone forget the sponsorship he gave for the 3 specials last year.Barries loss is definately Sunsets GAIN.

There is always going to be a rivalry betweeen the two places, which i think is just healthy fun. I also think that it is neat how both tracks offer somehting different. Sunset has a car count and Barrie has the car quality (this cannot be argued). The way I see it is...Sunset in the very near future will all be a subdivision and its unfortunate, but the man who pays hte bills there is a business man first and foremost,s o hebought the place for the property and everyone knows it. Hopefully somehting an be done, cause like i said there is nothing like the rivalry fo it all! Good luck to all. I will be running thursday night btw!

Case in point, the city/town of Alcona tried to bring in a McDonald's franchise 3 or 4 years ago, but due to poor water conditions surrounding the site, they were unable to. Money IS an object. You CAN'T build a subdivision ontop of contaminated land, and what components of motor oil and racing fuel AREN'T contaminents?

Furthermore, Shakells (sp?) wrecking yard, located directly behind the speedway have been extremely clear on their intentions not to sell, regardless of price.

Both of these work AGAINST a sunset speedway subdivision even IF someone desired to put the plan in motion

Much like the people who tried to bring up Showstoppers charitable work for an excuse for him wrecking 13 or 14 cars mentioning Myers sponsoring races at Barrie as an excuse for their cheating is idiotic .

Heres a news flash for you the only reason the Myers cars would not go through tech is because they were cheating like hell end of story . Rick and Mike are both nice guys but they got busted and it was their own fault . Hey Rick did you really think it was wise to go around telling people that you paid $1500 bucks for a carb , Pleeeeese you screwed your self . When you cheat you have to keep your mouth shut and not brag about it . With Mikes 23rd place finish in the main at Sunset I think everyone saw how the the car would run more or less legal .

Having two more cheaters with big mouthes is not much of a gain for Sunset mipro
