Id like to know if Barrie is having any shows around this area, id put my car in it.  I know if your into racing or have invested interest, you have to go to the toronto expo obviously, but most folks from Toronto area are gonna go to Sunset.

Barrie Speedways best bet is Barrie and Orillia.

Forget trying to compete against Sunset, do your own thing, around your own area.  Varney is perfect example, they sell out every night, and damn I dont think they advertise outside a 30 mile radious.  They get huge crowds, the locals love their little track and superstar heros.  🙂

It's not about competing with anyone, it's about supporting short track and other forms of racing in Ontario. Bringing exposure to the track for the new ownership, track sponsors and our race teams and their sponsors, your right people from Toronto will go to Sunset if they don't know about Barrie and the other tracks and forms of racing in the area.

Barrie Speedway will be popping up all over the place in 2012. I will release the info as we get things confirmed.
The Canadian Motorsports exposition is exactly what the name implies. It exposes the public to the sport as a whole and Barrie Speedway has never had a presence here before. Let's see who it will draw. You don't know if you don't try.
So far it looks very promising.
Come on down and check it out this weekend and see. If you can't make it here you can find Barrie Speedway at the Orillia Winter Canival as the official sponsor of the Snow Races! So either way we are where we need to be to promote our track and racers.
