I thought it was something to do with a spindle?

Tie rod to spindle point I believe... He had multiple holes... They found it when they were checking something else. I think that was the issue, they weren't even supposed to be looking at spindles and that's why he got upset.

That's a weird reason to be upset  :- I always figured if you're in tech, it better be legal bumper to bumper, any part is fair game whether they are looking for it or they stumble across it.
