my thought on a banquet has always been, the owners shouldn't make a dime on it. people cover the dinner and trophys etc.. are covered by the track. we pay through the ring all year and to get rolled for $50 is a little excessive! i recall a few years back, i overheard a previous owner comment on how they made over 16000 bucks on the banquet and almost everyone got a trophy or some thing.

I wouldn't believe that Jim...seams a bit high, maybe 7000....it would take 320 ppl paying full value to make 16000 then add more ppl to cover cost if u are talking profit...

What ever happened to the track getting us to sign a Hoosier race tire to be displayed at the Horsepower Grill? They talked about it one time in driver's meeting but I don't think that ever happened... I thought that was a cool idea.

I like that idea, I already have a trunk lid on the ceiling and a tire would be awesome.
