Great racing last night in all divisions, especially llm with McCloud, McWhirter and Showstopper fighting for the win, the grandstands they set up for the CTS made the place look like incredible.

Yes I would have to agree with you team27 there was some excellent racing last night after the 84 four cylinder was put on the trailer. And I think the track management has started to look at people that are causing problems (whether it is wrecks or other activities in the pits). The 84 caused two wrecks in two consecutive weeks that caused injuries to front running drivers. So he got sent home for the night (I don't know if there is going to be more of a suspension or not, this penalty seems light for injuring two drivers with bonehead driving, and wrecking two cars quite heavily). I and some others (including Steeve who got hurt last night, he has said that openly) thought the track should handle what was happening. Track management has done something and hopefully they will follow through with their decisions.

I am not sure that I would say Barrie is back on track just yet, I will say it appears that the track is definitely trying, on and off the track, I for one are glad to see it.  I have been going to Barrie for quite a while and I think this is the farthest I have seen the track let it go before they did something.  I was glad to see the swift action handling the driver that fought.  I think that they dealt with the people who all but admitted they are cheating, in the best manner they could at the time. (That is my take on drivers who chose to load their cars when they should have gone to tech.) I believe that they need to be taught that you can't buy a win ie. spend money on parts that are questionable (Let's say),  win by at least a quarter of a track, turn Thunder Car times, and not allow the track access to your motor.  I have heard that the other drivers don't want them back,  I say let them come back and race as thunder cars. LOL. Besides when you go to tech it is a crap shoot if they are gonna catch you anyhow unless you know what they are gonna find.  I say to the pound with them. Anyhow went on a little rant there, sorry :-[ I do think they are trying.

i think the track is doing a greta job this year! there is always room for improvements though... every track has it's politics and they say this and that and never do anything. But barrie has stepped up this year adn they are doing stuff about people going beyond the rules and getting rid of the rough driving. I've seen the black flag more times this year then ever before. kudos to barrie. Looks like rain tomorrow but if it doesn't i hope everyone comes out to see a good show at barrie.
