Oh well man, you roll the dice and sometimes it doesn't go your way. We're working on getting something together. I dunno how good it's going to be but I'm hopeful the car will be out there again in the next couple weeks. And maybe I can get my program kickstarted for next season with the addition of some new equipment and a new gen car, with a spare engine... I am committed to racing Thunder Cars and anyone who knows me knows if I want to do something I don't give up...

Another pretty great night of racing all in all even with the unfortunate accident in the KOH!!! Jongen was flying again last night, and it was so nice to see him get the 2nd feature win. Just a quick correction to the finish listed for that race it was Jongen, Shepherd, Lewis, Baker, and McLeod rounding out the top 5. I thought the first race was the more entertaining of the two and kudos to both the Inglis's who ran great all night!! Boy was Frank hooked up last night in the Thunders!! He was running some 15.5 sec laps and was consistently in the 15.5's and 6s!! That battle should be great right down to the wire as I believe Frank will only be about 15 points behind both Doucette and St. Onge now!! The time trials were done last night only for a spectacle to add to the show it didnt count for points or factor into starting position for either of the 40's!! I do think the track added a small cash bonus to the winner though!! Of note from the way I figure it there will only be two points separation between our own SUBY MAN and Crumbie in the Chargers!! Shawn was also running some very fast times for that division last night and I would love to see you win the championship my good friend!! The bad luck of the night was suffered by our very own TEX who apparently blew his motor in practice!! Are you thinking of building a New Gen car Kevin?? Thats what I took out of your last post!! If so go with the Lumina body like Holden's I think its the best looking car in that division easily!! Of note the top three times in time trials were McLeod 14.455 sec, Baker 14.473 sec. and Jongen 14.668 sec. and 14 of the 16 Lates recorded sub 15 sec. laps with the only exceptions being Thornborrow and Black!! See you all this weekend coming!!! DAVE V  P.S What are you guys hearing about the Reynolds' neither one has been there the last couple weeks???

Hi Dave, Yes my team is looking at building a new gen, I like the 95 - 00 Monte Carlo bodystyle like Leonard Johnston's #24, myself, but Brad Holden's car is pretty sweet... I'll be using the same color scheme and design that I use now which many people have told me they like. I think it'll look great on the newer Monte Carlo body style...

Our team has decided to go new gen because maintainence on the car is a lot easier, there's more room to work... The Malibu I have is a good car, but we are kind of limited on things like moving the seat, (my Crew Chief Ken can't even get in the car) and Malibu body parts are getting harder to find every day, so the Malibu will be my backup car which you may see from time to time.
