Just a question if the field is only half of the pay out spots does the last place car get 80.00 or the spot based on number of cars???

Nope. There were 14 cars, one dns'd. So 13th gets 13th 40 lap money.

Well thats great for the cars still struggling more money for them in the long run. They are very fortunate its not a full field to benefit.
