Wow-sounds like someone has way too much time on their hands to go around checking up on what other drivers are doing to stay competitive. Must be someone wo spent a ton of coin and couldn't keep up. Seeing a motor in piees at a machine shop, making such wild assumptions and then posting them on a forumsuch as tis one wihout any valid proof (ie actual pics of the motor and related parts), I have to say is not very sportsman like. Prove it to all of us that that motor you claim was stroked is actually 2fst4u's and not for someone else. To me it seems like you, Pinecrest have a bone to pick with guys who do their research to make their car competitive year in and year out, but you are only picking on certain drivers and not on the rest, obviously you do not realize that alot more can be done on the other cars too, so why not whine about them too? Yes Andy built alt of 2.3 motors last year and I can tell you that 2fst4u and Joe's motor are pretty well identical right down to the rods. Remember Pinecrest how many Mustangs got torn down this year? How many passed Tech? How many failed? Don't you think at that time that valves wee checked? Or for that matter bore and stroke were not checked? Comeon son wake up and smell the coffee. Oh I almost forgot the Tech guy's passion wasn't the 4 cyl. division and that is why it is what it is today, unless someone puts a stop to it. I personally know of at least 2 drivers who drove stroked motors at the track and possibly a third and spent what Joe and 2fst4u did combined in 1 single motor. Joe may not have spent as much as 2fst4u did but both cars were compeitive and also could turn the same lap times.Also Pinecrest you say you found 5 cam listings for 2.3 mustangs, how come I can only find 3 from 1980 to 1993? Odd I'd say- care to refresh my memory on the other 2 young fellow? From what I am hearing Tech will be alot different this yea and correct me if I amwrong- was it not said at the driver's meeting that if you are Q'd in Tech, you are DQ'd???????
Crumbie here is something for you to think about- you'e car killed alot of us on the straights but nevr through a corner. Think about how long it takes to stop something that weighs a few hundred lbs. more than your car. Key word MOMENTUM move forward momentum on something heavier means can be faster through a corner than something lighter.

Bayfield Mall Show Tech update: All mustangs with slotted strut towers will not be aloud to run. Sounds to me like barrie is gonna end up with a small four cylinder division most mustangs i've seen have slotted strut towers.
