Just curious as to what you fellow drivers thought of the teching being done on the 4 cyl. division and what wasn't done and what should be checked more frequently, what can be done to improve Tech shed
I do wonder when they will pull a part some of the hi $ Fords to discourage the use of things like GM rods etc etc that most people know are being run but have never been teched . When will they pull the heads off some of the 2.5 mopars that are using 2.2 pistons etc ? When will someone explain to the tech department that you can not check a camshaft in a Honda or VW with out pulling it ?. There are many other things they should be doing but this would be a good place to start.
I think tech should go into more detail and tech all the cars the same. Not Tech one thing on a mustang and not on a honda or VW. and rumour has it Joe Ficker will be tech guy for the for cylinders thats conflict of interest because his daughter is dating brandon crumbee and rumour has it his son will be racing his car.
that and he could not tech a lawn mower
