i don't whine wade! I only joke about people being cheaters. i call everybody a cheater on here that i am friends with and call everyone at the track that i know a cheater as well. it's funny cause they always call me a cheater back. I know it's not how many cars you work on but my dad set up the 55 charger car. he set up the 117 car lately and he just got his first top5 of the year. He built and made my car fast. he workd on Tia's car to be faster. he is helpin others at the track as well....yes i agree it should be crew of the year cause it is a team sport or family sport.
Well I would say to you Wade that I never claimed to be a "real cowboy". I have ridden a horse, once or twice. I like the hat, I like to wear the hat, I wore the hat to the speedway and everyone seems to like it and tells me so, so I'll keep wearing the hat. When cowboy hats are licensed to "real cowboys" I'm sure the Government will be knocking on my door. It does double duty of being stylish and keeping the sun off my "red neck". I would guess that the $5 fine is for spitting tobbaco on the floor, but I'm sure you'll enlighten us all. I don't think that Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough or even John Wayne had a previous career as professional coyboys, but they all wore very stylish headgear. "Cheater" is a bit of an inside joke between friends who race at Barrie, and pit in the lane closest to the gate. If you took that the wrong way then I'm sure you can understand it now that it has been explained. Dave Melson helps a lot of people out, who race at Barrie. Although not racing himself this year he has shown an exceptional amount of sportsmanship to other competing drivers and teams, and some people made the comment that he should be nominated for Crew Person of the Year. If you would like to nominate someone, I'm sure none of us would have a problem with that, even if you nominated yourself, I don't think anyone would have a problem with you posting that here...
