I predict that if Darryl St. Onge is racing this year, he will be at the front.
I predict that if Frank Davey, Dave Doucette and Ed Tremblay race at Barrie they will be at the front.
I appreciate that you have picked Ken Denhollander to run top 3 Dave. It might be a little optimistic, but we are hoping for some good things this year. We'll see how it all shakes out.
Thayne is a very good choice for Rookie, but we have not seen the whole card yet either... there might be a dark horse like Don Brandon in '08 in the pipeline... who knows?
Really it is too early to say. All in all there are some solid picks there Dave. Holden, Elliott, Isherwood, Beleskey, again just about 10 - 15 cars able to run near the front every night IF they return and are not lured by the big 1st place money down at Sunset...
I do not believe I will be racing much this year. I'm hoping for a few starts and some practice to stay in the game and a return in '10 with a lot of new equipment.
u running the old car again tex>>or the dodge body?
Thanks Davey! I really appreciate your support! We are cracking hard on her as we speak!
LM: 1. Keith Mcleod
2. The stomper
3. Dwayne BakerI may be a lil biased here as I am a fan of keith and my aunts company is his sponsor, but I just love keiths aggressive yet not stupid driving style! Go Keith. If the Stomper does come she will be a last night winner take all deal i think and hope!
Keith has the potential to do well but he's lost a lost of cred within the formula with his whining and bitching about his beloved built motors. He will do well to get respect ontrack from his fellow competitors which may well work against him. Without flogging an old horse, he pretty much made a fool of himself in the Drivers meeting there.......
Did Dwayne come crawling back? Thought he was away to bigger things?
TC: 1. Chance Isherwood
2. Darryl St Onge
3. Brad HoldenI think the Deuce and Flyin' Frank will be racing in innisfil this year and who can blame them? They will be in the big boy money every night there!
Not sure about Isherwood. He's good when starting up front but he can't do traffic as yet and reliably went backwards last year whenever he was in it. I'm pretty sure his unfeasibly low seating position is a huge disadvantage in that respect, his visibility is surely badly compromised. He's got to realise he isn't driving round the 'hood in a Civic.
Cmon its been almost a full week and Thayne and I are the only ones that have attempted anything loooking like a full set of predicions??? Tex did attempt the division he races in so kudos there, but how bout the rest of the divisions hombre??LOL Come on all you lilly livered chicken sh*ts of both CRO and Barrie Speedway lets hear from you!!!! Surely you should be able to top Thayne or I???
OK OK Dave I'll have a crack at it.
LLM
1)Gord Shepherd
2)Keith Mcleod
3)Robin Yongen
This is assuming that The Stomper will not be returning. If he does, he has to be my fave for the title and everyone else down one spot.
TC
1)Brad Holden
2)Darryl StOnge
3)Eddie Tremblay
Again this is assuming that "The Deuce" and "Flyin Frank" are not racing for points at Barrie
PS
1) Ben Melenhorst
2) Billy Melenhorst
3) Mike Meyer
I really think that these three drivers in this order are a pretty safe bet for 2009
