Auto Clearing Motor Speedway

We squeaked another one in at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway Saturday
night as the rain started to fall just as the final checkered flag fell
on the Kreepy Kritterz Pest Control Mini Stock feature race.

The race day started off in fast fashion as two more track records were
set during time trials as the track just keeps getting quicker and
quicker.  First the Big Bore Drilling Super Trucks #44 Dean Braham
felled the record of Scott Lucas, timing in at 14.943 seconds.  When the
Earth Works Equipment Sask Legends Series were qualifying, the #21 of
Blake Erb edged closer to the 16 seconds marked with a lap ringing in at
16.195 seconds.

In the Performance Plus Bandoleros, the #22 of Kelsey Toth came out the
big winner picking up both the feature win and the qualifier race.  #24
Jaxen Gervais took the first Bandoleros heat race.

After setting the new Sask Legends track record, Blake Erb went on to
win Heat A, Qualifier A and the Earthworks Equipment Feature race in the
#21 Novakoski Quality Collision 1934 Ford Coupe.  The #24 of Brad Blumer
picked up wins in the Heat B and the Qualifier B.

Doug Fischer picked up the first win in the Big Bore Drilling Super
Trucks, crossing the line first with the #99 Big Bore Drilling Chevrolet
in the Heat race.  Dusty O Connell cleaned up the rest of the night
though with the #76 Heating Solutions Toyota, winning the Qualifier race
and the Big Bore Drilling 100 lap Feature.

No surprise, but it was Robin Boomsma cleaning up the Kreepy Kritterz
Pest Control Mini Stocks, winning the Heat, the Qualifier and the
Feature with his #95 Five Star Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning
Dodge Neon.

Next week we kick off the Rawlco Radio Show and Shine Weekend with a
full night of racing Friday, August 22.  The WSSL Auto Parts Super Late
Models will be running, along with the FFUN Motor Group Pro Trucks and
the Brock Salvage Street Stocks will be running their double feature.

Racing is Friday, August 22nd.  Front gates open at 6:00pm and the first
green flag is at 7:05pm.
