Just noticed on the varney website they have a 35 lap street stock/ thunder car invitational on sunday sep 2 as well as the canadian vintage mods. Starting time is 2:00 and Sunset also has an invitational that day starting at 6:00. Wonder if anyone is debating running both tracks that day?

the biggest issue would be travel and gear change ........to run both tracks
who won the thunder feature ?? i heard 00 was 2nd and 67 from flamboro was 3 rd.. also heard it paid $200 to start .. a good payout
a car #57 won it was a maroon coloured monte, think he said it was his first race this year, it was pretty clean looking...only 8 or 9 cars and 2 were wrecked in the heats...announcer was calling joe adams, jock adams...smoking jock adams...get it...76 arnott from flamboro was third...
