varney is an ahhhsum track, i always say its our bristol...
over the years, i finished 6th in challenger points in 87 and never got my money or my trophy sent from varney ,i never got money from tony at delaware sent, never got money from bruce at sauble sent and recently didnt get my pays sent to me from humberstone...u race enough it will happen
better to get it when your there i say..lol

as for barrie and sunset bashing on here over the years, as observed by an outsider who enjoys both tracks...barrie got its shots in at sunset when dilley was there...people calling it a dump etc etc etc...now its just sunsets turn...hopefully give it another year or 2 and i think both tracks will be drawing cars and fans, and in the end, both will be great facilities...your all dam lucky buggers, have 2 tracks u can choose from so close with these gas prices...

Kinda makes you wonder why KD/Pete being so close together and running on different nights can't really seem to draw the fans out unless its a big event at Kawartha or Fall Colors or a free admission night at Pete.. That perplexes me a little.. Perhaps Pete should go to the ACT spec LM as Kawartha has done and that might help who knows??? Like is the Simcoe County area that much more of a "racing hotbed" as opposed to the Kawatha's??? Just food for thought...

Another great thing about Varney is the view from that top tier of the grandstand.. It is both scenic and tremendous from a viweing perspective for the racing itself.. And quite the interesting walk up there too I might add!!! 😉

Guys,

I will try to get your questions answered today and will post here as well as the Varney Speedway facebook page.

Thanks for your patience.

Marty, no harm done but, if you do come back this year, talk to Doug or Steve. They can help resolve your issues.

Aaron, Bill Clark is head tech and I don't know about the 58.....my guess is no.

Stand by guys, I'll get your other questions answered soon.
