as for the incident...it is how i was told as well from others....
and as far as Barrie v. sunset...i dont think this was where it was going at all..jsut a clean convo..there were no track bashings going on..just short terack racing bashing nad how it has become politically correct...which is a good topic imo.

Just didn't want to get into a track rivalry situation again. Some people said some stuff, I wasn't aiming specifically at anyone, but I was reading it may get to the flashpoint soon. I think everyone is done with this matter anyhow.
A little respectful smack talk is okay between friends... but specifically naming people and saying "so and so called me this" isn't in my books, take it up with them in person, not on the message board, thank you.
The rumor was a cam in a certain Honda CRX was determined not legal by another Speedway at a certain time. I'm sure that Sunset would not DQ a car without just cause from inspection or another reason like rough driving.
Some events were alleged to have occurred at some time in the past. I think most of us are past that now and can show respect to visiting racers. I would hope that those of us who represent Barrie Speedway would encourage our friends from Sunset to attend our events where we can show our hospitality in return. As I have said before we have made a lot of progress in relationships between regulars / competitors of each of our favorite venues.
All of this being said I think we can all move on and discuss racing in Simcoe County, a favorite topic of each and every one of us.

ya that type of crap that we went through with colt is part of the reason that there are lower car counts at barrie imo. we were told before we went that the car wasn't liked but never imagined how brutal it was gonna be.
from right after the first heat i was being yelled when i was walking back to the pits by people i hadn't even met (guess they didn't like how i was watching the race), people who spun out on their own with colt not near them or people who were just passed were yelling "a**holes". I talked to the pit manager about what was happening but he was as useless as t*ts on a bull and was to blame imo for letting everything go on. Colt won both his heats that night and everyone kept warning us we would be wrecked if we came back. Saying the track owner told the home track guys to "do what you have to do" and stuff like that...the guy who drove the 22 car and the guy who drove the 3 car were the worst of the lot threatening that they (everyone pitted in their row) would all beat us up together cause there were alot more of them than us (we had 2 guys and a girl)...it was a classic attempt at grade school bullying but the funny thing was all the dudes that were doing the most lipping didn't actually have the guts to do anything themselves on the track or in the pits when we stayed and were non factors in the race...
if the head gasket didnt go in my car i would of....i did not threten to beat up colt i threatend that i wold wreck him lol! i was leading the first heat instead of passing on the outside he pushed me up to the fence so i was pissed when i got out of my car! i started at the back of the feature and finnshed 4th in the shortend race was on my way to being a factor!maybe if you and the girl kept your mouth shut none of it would have happend!no gipper has not sold his car yet!
