Dave,
This year would not have been ruined if all the players were following the same rules and tech was enforcing them.
All Honda's must weigh a minimum of 2300, I understand for the first half of the year you were 2000
There is something in the rules, I don't have the quote in front of me, about the floor of the car must in the original place, I understand your car did not have the original floor in the back which allowed the fuel cell to be placed lower.
Running without the hood week after week.  If there is a heating problem it should be fixed by now.
These are the obvious violations of the rules, how many violations are not obvious?
But it is not all your doing, if Tech do not enforce the rules then it does allow for anything goes and you end up with tension between teams.
I wish you luck at Mospot next year and hopefully they enforce the rules so everyone is playing on the same field.
It has been a frustrating year for all the 4 cylinder drivers when some teams (more than just yours) do not have to conform to the rules.
Anyway, last night coming and I am glad to see the end of this frustrating season.

From the Sunset rule book ...

Original floor pan and firewalls must be retained.

Minimum weight is 2300 pounds including driver for all 2000 cc and larger
engines and all Honda's.

Maximum rim width bead to bead is 7”. Heavy duty or racing rims may be
run on all four wheels. No wheel offset allowed except right side.

Cam lift will be inspected and must conform to the engine specs for the car.

How was the 63 car ever allowed to compete while in obvious violaton of the above rules to begin with  ? I blame as much of this on the track as i do on the 63 . I wish Dave good luck moving from a 4 cylinder modified to the 8 cylinder modifieds next year .

ok i was talking to the tech guy on wed night and he said if it rained on sat and sun then thats it for the year and if anyone has any cars in the pits he said they will be towed to a wreckers.

So does that equal truth to running Sunday incase Saturday doesn't go as planned? I'm sorry to be a pest with this question but I'm just really curious.

And 3-wide, any weather is better than rain, espically if it allows us to get racing in 😉

heard that it is pouring near the track and this was 30 minutes ago. Were told that we would know whether they were going to race or not by 1pm. Who knows! Hopefully we run today. The forecast looks good for later, but right now it is crappy! Don't call the night WEs.....

Yah it looks good for tonight, but the big question is will we get it dry since it's not really that warm out?
