Yep Congrats to Cornelius its a shame this b/s overshadows a great season for him and his team,he deserved to win the title but Baker even fkd that up for him and left a cloud hanging over his well earned championship.
Bottom line is Walters will probably be ok, but the issue is tonight Baker crossed the line, end of discussion and anyone who has been around racing a while and doesn't wear blinkers should know that.
I have been a member for a few years now and read most of what is posted here. I don't respond but seeing certain Walters fans (they are the few wearing his hats) cut me off in the parking lot, trying to leave the track. I only assume they are the first few ones who posted here tonight bashing Baker.
I just would like to point out that Tom actually was not resposive for a good 5 or 6 minutes. There was, in no way, that he could have been milking it. Word just came now that Tom has a neck fracture and will be done for the year.
As for the people that say that it was Tom, or his team, that wanted the cops called, it wasn't. If an ambulance is ever called to an incident at a race track, its only manditory for the police and fire department to be called aswell.
Wow, what have I caused?
I am a racing fan and I do not dislike any driver/car out there! In fact, Ive always considered the 48 to be a very capable car and driver, but from a fan's perspective, I'd much rather see great 20 car features rather than 18 car, 16 car, etc... These incidents take cars out of fields, and normally for more than a single night!
What happens out there is what it is, and I see all the bumpin and such done by all that do it, I only wish that those that put themselves in the position to win a track championship tonight, could have/should have been the ones to decide it, LOVE EM OR HATE EM!!!
If I knew it was coming, I couldn't have been the only one!
