So they tested a crate 602 against a built motor, to compare the two.  Uless you tear down the built motor to see whats in it, what have you learned??  NOTHING. 

Just becouse you get a small 15-20 horses difference dont mean nothing if your built test motor is a cheatin som-bitch.  Not saying Dave cheats, hes past tech 100 times, but is his motor really a fair example of the rest of our built motors??  Not mine, thats for sure.

Try testing a few motors of the average guy, and im sure you end up with a LARGER penalty on the 602.

The thing is, most tracks are giving the builts the penalty....so there must be some disadvantage, guessing RPM with the crate where the builts are making it up.....

I agree Charlie...50 pounds is not enough imo, but are all the other tracks that wrong?
