what they did was...they dino'd daves motor with his externals

then Tom's with Daves's externals for a baseline....

then they added the 2101 to Dave's

the 2101 still has to go on the crate does it not? cause they used Dave's intake on it?

I thought they threw the 2101 on the Deuce's motor ?????
Doesnt the crate come with the high rise aluminum intake
any way?

the crate comes with its own intake...which isnt the 2101...

Your very right Joe!its more like a performer rpm intake,then a 2101.and only 4 bolt hole on each side,compared to the 6 on the 2101 or the performer rpm..

Hi just to clear a few things up this is what I did, I put Daves motor on and ran it the way that it came out of his car with his intake,exhaust,carb and dis then we changed the intake to the 2101 and the spec canton spacer and ran it.
We then put Toms motor on as it came from GM that is with the intake that it comes with from the factory we add the Canton spec spacer and Daves exhaust,carb and dist and ran it the crate made 17 more horse power, Daves motor made 10lbs more torque.
This was a true test same Dyno,exhaust,carb,spacer and Dis.
I hope that clears some things up
