Yes Herb is definiately speaking the truth here...

Sunset Speedway should be happy that racers of such caliber choose to race there.

It's not about who is dictating to who about who should race. It is about respect and if Barrie cars are not wanted than I doubt you will see one there, even if you boosted the purse... There's lots of other nights for the Barrie cars to come and have some fun. Besides I would suggest most of the Barrie Thunder Car drivers will be in attendance at Sunset anyways on Saturday night, which says a lot, that they will skip their own show to come and see the Sunset cars race.

Most of the people who race in the Thunder Car division are all about Thunder Cars... From anywhere... This is my thought anyways, completely open for discussion  ;D (myself I'm not interested in 150 laps of OSS, but that's my deal... I like local racing, and SOME touring series)

Aparrently Mickey you are only concerened about all of the money that goes into your pocket and not about your drivers.  If you did read all of the posts then you would have seen that i DO NOT care if the Barrie cars come down and run with us. The Barrie and Sunset drivers for the first time in a while have RESPECT for each other unlike you do for your drivers.  I am pretty sure if it was our night off and their mid seasons they would opt not to have out of town cars there they would get the same respect.  As for paying bills, us drivers put out thousands of dollars every year.  Do you think we make money doing this? This is a hobby, there is not a race track out there that can dish out enough money for all of the drivers to be positive on the financial side of it.( i am the driver that waited four weeks to get paid, i won't be giving you credit). Try paying our bills when you are running for a championship. Maybe you should have thought of that before you bought the speedway. For the tire problem, do you think when the night is done racing stops, it doesn't, we live and breath racing,  why do you think we did a little research on the tire situation,  we are race car drivers but we are not stupid.  If you are concerned about the money coming in why did you get rid of the frosty? If you made the frosty $1000.00 to win you would have every car in ontario there, seeing as the frosty is the last race of the year(where there is no other track running)  it would be autom colours all over again, race cars parked in the parking lot and spectators parked on the highway. But the biggest thing you have to do is respect your drivers, especially the ones that come on here talk up your race track and put on one F@$* of a show every saturday night, remember no drivers=no money=no race track, but i am just a driver that suports your speedway that needs to get a life! how do you like them apples

Here's the thing "mickey":  it is obvious you are one of the owners or very closely related to the owners (likely the former) and you come on here poking a stick at your drivers and their fans.  How does that help one tiny bit?  Maybe engaging the conversation intelligently or answering some of the pressing questions would get you a crapload more credibility.  Plus you crapped on your POINTS LEADER!  What are you thinking???

Just when Barrie is in turmoil and you could win a few drivers over, you post junk like that - arrogance isn't going to win the argument for you on this forum.

Well I was going to bring a bus load of 50 people up from Toronto, to watch the best short track racing in Ontario(sorry Barrie guy's). I'm not sure if I should now?
