Practice Times are just that practice times among other things going on at the same time. It does not mean a slower time might not be faster when getting down to business.

Hence making things interesting....no?

Throw 3 or so cars out at the same time for qualifying. would make it a little more interested for the average fan, plus it gets the job done quicker, especially if 40 ministocks show up on their time trials night.  Works great for dirt racing, they throw out about 8ish cars at once.  a 70+ field of super late models at Volusia back in February qualified in no time with the multi-car format.

I think it's a great idea for a number of reasons, it's a neat little twist for everyone...I really like that it rotates between the classes, so each class will have TT,Heat,Heat in 3 week cycles.
It will be cool to see track records set and broken, good that every car in every class will get a chance to be on the track by themselves so there sponsers get proper exposure.
It will "speed up" the nights program eliminating thoese heats, it's also good because if your a little bit late showing up your not missing any "racing".

Thoughts?

...
TIME TRIALS ARE BORING, IF THIS IS WHAT SUNSET IS GOING TO DO AND NOT RUN HEATS THIS WILL END ME GOING TO WATCH THERE AND I'M AN HOUR 1/4 AWAY, I DON'T THINK THE FANS WILL LIKE IT !
BTW IS ADMISSION PRICES DOWN NOW THAT WE DON'T GET TO SEE HEATS ?
