Probably one of the more disappointing invites of the year so far although it did have it's moments. Only about 16 minis and similar in superstocks with only (1) visiter as I saw with Ken Grubb;spencer was predicting close to 30 so that was disappointing. About 20lm with most from other tracks which is unusual but no one had much for walters and bentley until the end. Good race in SS with Roth and Rusnell but otherwise a fairly quiet event

Are you kidding me , i thought it was one heck of a show especially in the thunder cars. More side by side racing by almost every driver that raced. Nick Roth #17 and Randy Rusnell #72 running side by side for probably 15 laps without hardly a slight rub. Hard driving by the # 46 of Lane Zardo ,#21 of Matt Bentley and the #88 of Herb Walters sure kept me on the edge of my seat. #35 Late model Andy Kamreth from sauble sure letting all the other late model drivers know he was there to win. He sure came close nudging Walters in almost every corner. Good run by Saubles Marvin Freiberger and what a nice ride too.Great racing. Sure felt bad for the #51 of Mike lights out Bentley when leading the race he got that flat tire with 4 laps to go,looked innocent enough just trying to pass a lapped car. And what about that #29 car of the frequent flyer,Sean Grossman, where the heck did he pull that driving performance from, outstanding race from start to finish,he was making moves during the race that ive never seen from him in any other race hes been in. Watch out for this guy if he continues to race like this every week. Even the 4 cyls had tons of 3-4 wide racing at times, lots happening all over the place. Great night out with the family,we all had a blast.

Yes, the racing itself was very good, but I do agree with Longtimefan, the car counts for an invitational were very very disappointing, I believe 14 mini's took the green flag and 16 SS.  I gotta be honest, I expected/was hoping for alot more than that. And, yes, I think Spencer was a little off on his call Sat night of expecting upwards of 30 SS for this Invitational.  It was a great finish to the LLM race, however had it not been for some crazy bad luck, it would have been another anticlimatic blowout by the best LM driver in Ontario.
Just my opinion....
