that question was directed at tower Linda  ;).....funny how its never the 47's fault could your views be biased Skidder and what the hell did Dario do wrong, win the race ? what also wasn't right about that race was putting the 47 infront of the 7 after a caution and then again putting him infront of the 11 after yet another caution.

Man, I'm no expert, but if you are deliberatly trying to spin someone, there are easier parts of the track to do it! If you look at every other lap, the 88 is on the gas by that point of the turn.

Im sure hes man enough to admit when hes at fault and man enough to take it when hes not. As far as being put ahead of somebody or behind somebody on a restart, that would be up to the scorers discression and what they decide as the ones responsible for that part of a nights racing. What are you trying to say there 48fan that maybe the scorers are a little biased towards certain drivers.

exactly how it appeared to me last night .......sitting in the drivers seat Silverstone I can tell you that that is as easy a place to do it as any when you are a faster car. I have yet to see Walters except fault for any incident I have witness, Even seen him smiling and saying he was happy with the outcome of the wreck from last night when asked by timmersma.

I have seen him apologise publicly in post race interviews when the need be. I have a copy on video tape of him publicly apologising for causing another driver to wreck from when rogers used to cover Barrie Speedway. I have to agree with Skidder that he will man up and admit when he is wrong. As for this time, it is plain to see that Beattie did not get on the gas quite as quickly. It just does not make sense why he would do that deliberately. He was ahead of his championship rival, and he himself could very easily have been part of that wreck.

Okay - I Know I will get a new *** ripped for this as I am probably the only person that is not a Walters worshipper. 😮 Actually really do not care for him one way or another. Sure I have seen him apologize also but how is it every time he is involved in a spin there is always the 5-minute argument in front of the stands?? HEY TOM WE CAN HEAR YOU FROM 4 ROWS UP. Why do the officials stand for this? As for the 88 checking up it is not quite the way we saw it but even if it was come on folks the man has won more years of championships than some of the other drivers have been around! Also let us face it he has been known many times to use the chrome horn to get what he wants. This is little more than an incident of the normal tethered wrecking ball trying to get to the front. The man can pass inside or outside every car in this field – so why the bump and run?

A group of us went down to the pits at the end of the night. Walters was in the garage area arguing (sorry discussing) with some guy about the accident and to hear Walters side of it he claims he was hit from behind. The video CLEARLY shows this is not he case. The only contact with Walters was after the accident was well under way. As for the 88 checking up why would the distance between the 11 and the 47 be eaten up at the same time? Sorry loyal 47 fans – IMHO this was all Walters. Finally to hear Walters in the pits saying that is a contact sport – sure “rubbing is racing” but full contact should be left for the NFL.

Why two weeks ago was he not penalized for causing the deliberate yellow on a restart? Other drivers in previous years have been black flagged for this!

Yes Sunset has gone from a horror show last year into THE place to be on a Saturday night but again in my opinion the Late Model count will continue to diminish with this car there. Not completely because of the incidents like last night nor due to the officials seemingly to turn a blind eye. In reality I will be the first to admit – does anyone stand a chance to ever catch him in the points if he is running a full season at your speedway?

Does not matter if you like or dislike him he drives a mean racecar. To bad the drama has to be played out all the time. But then again I guess that is part of an emotional sport huh?

Sigh – let the comments roll  ;D

HAVE A GREAT WEEK ALL!! Two days of racing next week! Come on Mama Nature – be kind!
