that'd be quite the talented driver to pilot a 2700 lb nissan to beat mustangs with headers and a holley @2200lbs, or a sohc Neon RT 150hp @2200lbs.

crash, you're from flamboro. one of the most talented drivers in the province runs a 2700lb nissan against a few nice 2500lb mustangs and they trade wins every week. imagine if those mustangs dropped a couple hundred lbs and bolted on a holley and a nice header. Bailey wouldn't get a sniff, talent or not. last years Sunset points winner who won what, 2 features?, just gained 300lbs, wonder how he feels?

Just to answer the last question on how the points champion will feel, probably pretty good seeing as he won the championship weighing 2770 he lost 70 pounds, remember one thing all race tracks reserve the right to add and take away weight to make the competition close and that is what the 240 ran at last year.

Weight is being substituted for technical inspection, that is all. I sure know my championship car from 2009 would no way in hell win a race at Sunset at 2700lbs. Look at the 6 car of Woodley. There is a perfect example of a stock, within the rules 240. I bet he isn't impressed.

Well I would tend to disagree as a group this was talked about at the drivers meeting and this is what we came up with and just for the record the points were one by some one doing there home work and finishing races in the top 5, I belieave that he only won 2 features but was a consiteant top 5 car and that is what the class is about and how championships are won.
Distruber I think if you read the second last rule that is your unwritten rule not sure how that is unwritten but whatever.
